Welcome Serendipity!

This is the blog site for all of our friends to watch our new Shiba Inu, Serendipity, grow. You may also want to point and laugh as Steve and I go through the trials of learning to be proper Shiba Staff. At the date of this posting she is 7 weeks old (her Birthday is April 9th if you want to send a card ** or bacon**). She will get to be about 20 pounds. We got her from a breeder in Georgetown, CA. She's doing well so far. We got through our first vet check and got a clean bill of health (except for the fleas - but that's another story). We also got through our first night with reletively little drama. I think we're waiting for the other shoe to drop. She is, of course, also the cutest, smartest, and most perfect dog ever - but that goes without saying from her mommy.
