Pack on the mend

Well, the whole pack has been sick for a while. Steve and I got colds and so so Dippy. She was sneezing pretty bad for a while there and we were concerned that she had something up her nose, but it seems to have gone away without the expensive and intrusive procedure so all is again well.

Today we had a little breakthrough on the water fear thing. Dippy and I have been walking down by the river almost every day. Today she actually went up to the water on her own and touched it with her nose. Granted, it's COLD out there and it was really really still so there was nothing to scare her, but it was a brave move for a scared Shiba none the less.

We're still loving day care and having a great time at the dog parks. We went to the South Land Park Dog Park yesterday. Once she figuerd out what it was she had a great time. I don't really like it as much as our regular dog park. It's certainly nicer for people but it's a weird set up that doesn't create the same sense of community that the one off of Power Inn does, in my mind anyway. Well, I'll try to keep up with this during finals but no promises. Happy Thanksgiving.
